Radisson Mining Resources reported new high-grade assay results from its 100%-owned O’Brien Gold Project in Québec’s Abitibi region. Recent deep drilling beneath the historic O’Brien Mine workings has delivered record intercepts, including 89.36 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 3.7 metres, highlighting the project’s significant growth potential.
Four of the recently completed drill holes are wedges extending from the previously reported pilot hole OB-24-337, which is the deepest hole ever drilled at the project. This pilot hole, along with the first three wedges, had already identified multiple high-grade gold intercepts outlining a large zone of gold-bearing veins with good continuity. The new wedges, OB-25-337W4 to W7, now reveal the highest-grade intercepts to date, demonstrating the scale and potential of the mineralised zone.
Key highlights include:
- OB-25-337W7 intersected 89.36 g/t gold over 3.7 metres, including an exceptional 293.0 g/t gold over 1.1 metres.
- OB-25-337W7 also returned 16.43 g/t gold over 8.1 metres, including 60.75 g/t gold over 2.1 metres.
- Other wedges reported significant grades such as 47.70 g/t over 1.0 metre (OB-25-337W5) and 18.80 g/t over 1.0 metre (OB-25-337W6).
In addition to these deep intercepts, Radisson reported results from ten shallower holes drilled near the historic mine workings on “Trend #0,” including areas around the former “Jewellery Box” zone. These holes returned high-grade gold intercepts such as 4.32 g/t over 6.5 metres (OB-25-370) and 7.05 g/t over 2.5 metres (OB-25-372).

Matt Manson, President and CEO of Radisson, stated, “Since last December, we have been outlining a series of high-grade gold-bearing veins extending up to 500 metres below the base of the historic O’Brien Mine. Today, we are reporting the highest-grade intercepts yet from this area, based on four new wedges drilled from our initial pilot hole.”
Manson added, “Our ongoing 50,000 to 60,000-metre drill program is focused on large step-outs below current mineral resources and the historic mine, testing the potential of the O’Brien mineralizing system to depths of 2 kilometres. This approach has been remarkably successful and has significant implications for the future scale of the project.”
He further noted that the shallower drilling around the Jewellery Box zone confirmed extensive gold mineralisation, reinforcing the zone’s high-grade potential and its importance to the overall resource model.
