Perseus Mining completes key plant handover at Nyanzaga Gold Project

Perseus Mining is advancing the Nyanzaga Gold Project in Tanzania, handing over key process plant areas to EPCM contractor Lycopodium as bulk earthworks progress.

The completed areas include Primary Crushing, Pre-Leach, Grinding, and Carbon-in-Leach (CIL), laying the foundation for full-scale operations.

The company continues to advance construction across multiple fronts, with July bringing several notable achievements.

July 2025 Highlights:

  •  Process plant handover: Key infrastructure areas transferred to EPCM contractor Lycopodium.
  •  Construction offices: Facilities for both EPCM and Owners Team are complete and operational.
  •  Permanent camp development: 13 concrete slabs poured for senior staff buildings, providing 104 accommodation rooms.
  • Brickwork progress: Four buildings reached ring beam level, adding 16 more rooms.
  •  Resettlement Housing Program: Continued strong progress remains a top priority.
  • Ngoma Bypass Road: A vital new access route to the site is nearing completion.
