Aurum Resources has discovered 66 meters at a grade of 1.07 grams per ton of gold from 33 meters at the BD tenement of its Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire, highlighting another impressive outcome in its ongoing 100,000-meter drilling program in CY2025.
The intercept, returned from hole DSDD0190A at BD Target 1, includes 21.73m @ 1.01 g/t Au and 29m @ 1.46 g/t Au, highlighting the shallow and wide nature of the mineralisation. Aurum is continuing to test the extent of gold mineralisation at both BD Target 1 (BDT1) and BD Target 3 (BDT3), with assays from 23 diamond drill holes (6,112m) across both areas delivering further encouraging results:
- DSDD0177: 71.72m @ 0.72 g/t Au from 187m, including 6.5m @ 1.72 g/t Au
- DSDD0182:
- 3m @ 1.78 g/t Au from 95m, including 1m @ 5.11 g/t Au
- 32m @ 0.76 g/t Au from 107m, including 3m @ 3.73 g/t Au
- 24m @ 0.78 g/t Au from 143m, including 4m @ 3.02 g/t Au
The results confirm the growing potential of the Boundiali project, where mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth. Drilling continues with eight company-owned rigs active on-site, aiming to complete the full 100,000m this year.

Aurum plans to deliver two Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) updates in CY2025 to build on its current 1.59Moz maiden MRE. A Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) is also in progress and is expected by year-end.
Aurum also noted that a 30,000m drilling campaign will begin this month at its recently acquired Napié deposit, aiming to grow the existing 0.87Moz MRE. The company remains fully funded following a $35.6 million private placement completed in May.
Managing Director Dr. Caigen Wang said, “these shallow, wide intercepts from BD Target 1, including 66m @ 1.07 g/t Au, are exactly the kind of results we’re targeting. They support our strategy to upgrade resource classifications and feed into the next MRE update.”
